This “conference within a conference” is a window for innovative, groundbreaking educators that do an amazing job but are not necessarily connected to democratic education. This is an opportunity for them to share their doing, be exposed to global processes, and be inspired by the outstanding spirit of the IDEC community.
You are all welcome to present your schools and projects at the Hadera conference in addition to what you plan to do during IDEC.

Moving from Hadera democratic school to ECO park, Hadera’s ecological park
4:30pm – 7pm
Open Space
The park will be divided to different areas – reception, presentations from Israel and the world, entrepreneurs, speakers, etc
7:30pm – 10pm
“The big questions” hackathon
Professor Sugata Mitra and Yaacov Hecht will lead a shared thinking and planning marathon around some “big questions” asked by them and by the participants
Sir Ken Robinson will give a short talk by video
